On 11 November 2025, during the conference “Mysticism, Mystical Phenomena, and Holiness” promoted by the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints at the Pontifical Urbaniana University, the Prefect held a lecture entitled “Comments on the application of the Norms for Proceeding in the Discernment of alleged Supernatural Phenomena,” in which he offered some clarifications regarding the new Norms published by the Dicastery on 17 May 2024.
