Conference by the Prefect, “The Mother of Evangelization,” for the meeting promoted by the PCAL

On December 12, 2025, the liturgical memorial of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Cardinal Víctor Manuel Fernández, gave a lecture entitled: “The Mother of Evangelization. Why is Mary the first evangelizer?”
The event took place in the context of the Meeting with Latin American priests, religious, and seminarians studying in Rome, entitled “Mary: Star of Evangelization and Mission for Latin America Today” and promoted by the Pontifical Commission for Latin America (Pontificia Comisión para América Latina, PCAL).
