Visit of the Bishops of Honduras

On the occasion of their Visit ad limina, on 6 October 2026, the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith welcomed the Bishops of the Episcopal Conference of Honduras.
At the beginning of the meeting, the soul of Bishop Teodoro Gómez Rivera of Choluteca, Vice President of the Episcopal Conference of Honduras, was entrusted to the Lord. He died on 28 September 2026 in Madrid, while travelling to Rome to take part in the same Visit ad limina.
During the meeting, some themes concerning the latest documents published by the Dicastery were addressed, and in particular the questions regarding the transmission of the faith.
