Conferral of the “Communication Artisan” Award.

On Thursday, June 5, on the occasion of the 20th Week of Communication, the conferring of the “Artisan of Communication” Award was held at the Libreria San Paolo on Via della Conciliazione to Card. Víctor Manuel Fernández, Prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, and to Arturo Mariani, motivational speaker.

The reasons for the awarding of the prize to Card. Fernández concern "his commitment to theological and pastoral dialogue, promoting a communication capable of uniting and building bridges between the Gospel message and the challenges of the contemporary world. His sensitivity and ability to speak to people's hearts make him a reference for authentic and profound ecclesial communication" (from the Press Release).

The “Artisan of Communication” Award is a recognition established by the Society of St. Paul, which “intends to reward figures who embody the ideal of authentic, constructive and capable of uniting communication” (ibid.).
